From the moment you enter this creative space, the debate whether it's essential to keep up with the latest gear to catch up, stay relevant, or belief in the propaganda that it'll make you better is engraved in each and everyone and I'm here to address why your gear doesn't matter.

We all understand the importance of resources that allow opportunities for creatives to push boundaries and limitations, but in today's space the arms race to be the first to get the newest camera, lens, drone, or any new flashy tech neglects the most important attributes that makes a creative who they are. That's their skill, their time dedicated to perfect their craft, and ultimately their creative visions.

The camera, lenses, and accessories are extensions bridging "what ifs" to reality; however, there's no debate the most important part of the process is the person behind the camera making everything happen. Gear shouldn't define your creative aspirations or your skill level. Everything you need is already inside of you!

I know and I know you know of those people just like you and I who can execute their creative visions with little to no new, flashy gear that everyone says you need to be in the field. This is the foundation that exemplifies and trumps why gear doesn't matter. No matter what resources their given, the creative skill within the person will supersede the person buying the latest gear each year.
